3 years agoGreat music, it was slow when we went, but we are not that crowd anymore, so we enjoyed the music with no drama. Do not hesitate to check it out, great spot for photos and dancing. You pay what you pay on drinks, be expecting a higher than normal bill. Definitely will go back, just for the Latin music vibes.

2 years agoOne of the best locations in downtown Austin for latin music! Was able to celebrate a birthday there this past weekend and the servers were so nice once we got our table. Gets a little packed on weekends, but the overall vibes are great. If you do stop by, ask for Juliana! She’s one of the best bartenders there.

3 years agoCame to Mala Vida for my beautiful wife's birthday. Our compadres suggested this spot. We loved the Bad Bunny theme and the environment. 3 different dance/music floors, 2 on the first floor and 1 on the second floor. We danced on all three and had a blast! Even my compadre was dancing and he doesn't dance much. Honestly, we had tooooooo much fun. Puro pariiiiii! Fast and friendly service at all bars. I do recommend you take an Uber/Lyft/Lime or any other method of transportation other than your own. It can be difficult to find parking. We also had the honor to meet the owner, Gabriela Bucio. She was approachable and friendly. Overall, we had a great experience and we will return on our next visit to ATX. We recommend it to anyone looking to dance and have fun. Mala Vida!

year agoThis was my first time. This is a club for 18+. I didn’t have my physical driver’s License. I showed them a picture and they let me in. This is a diverse club English and music. Good bangers just super crowded. $20 each person. They except card and cash. Long lines but worth the wait.

year agoI went to the Kapo concert. We waited almost four hours, but it wasn't the venue's fault. We still enjoyed it. We didn't eat, but we had some drinks, and the service was excellent.

2 years agoHad fun going to Mala vida Sunday night. They had free tacos and free hot Cheetos. The bar had very cool neon sign murals. Great spot to take pictures, pretty ibstagranable. Good deal on beers, a bucket of 5 for $19, Tip included. ULovei was djing that night, good Latin music all night. Enjoyed this spot for Sunday funday in Austin, TX.
